How can policy makers equitably make London’s Red Routes “green”?

Challenge	Environmental Defence Fund (EDF) were looking to create fresh narratives around the red routes of London. Originally designed as vehicle-first spaces in 1991 the city has changed through population increase and geographic focus with air pollution now being a considerable problem. EDF wanted to highlight the need for change through citizen focused campaigns that moved beyond data into experience

Outcomes	EDF were able to articulate their campaign with new insights, engage with the Centre for London, and develop an equitable framework for working with communities experiencing high levels of air pollution
